Grace Gao shot a 1-under par 34 to lead Solon (161) to the victory over Medina (177) on Thursday at Grantwood Golf Course. The win strengthened the Defending Champion Comets grip on first place in the Greater Cleveland Conference. Solon had five golfers in the 40’s with Catherine Wang’s 40 tying Medina’s Maddie Debnar for second best on the day. Erin Frey added a 42 for the Bees.
