The Solon Comets continued their domination of the Greater Cleveland Conference (GCC) on Thursday at the 2019 GCC Pre-Season Tournament held at Shawnee Hills Golf Course.
The Comets were led by medalist and freshman Kaitlin Kormuth with an 81. Catherine Wang’s 84 and Sandy Deng’s 92 helped Solon hold off a very much improved Strongsville squad. The Mustangs were paced by runner up Molly Duperow with an 83 and Reagan Bass with a 92. Medina was paced by Cleo Meldrum’s 88 and Erin Frey’s 89. Brunswick’s Morgan Briley was sixth overall with a 90.
