Hawken came away with a close 1-shot win over Lutheran West in CVC play on Tuesday at Punderson.
Ella Wong led the Hawks with a 4-over 40 while Sam Webb led the Lady Longhorns with a 6-over 42.
The Longhorns had a 1-stroke lead with the first four scores in, but Hawken’s fifth golfer, Julianna Pollard, came in with a 59 to give Hawken the one stroke win.
Lutheran West Coach Dave Ressler commented, “Hawken played well and we just missed a couple of putts. We are very evenly matched and look forward to them coming to Red Tail in a couple weeks.”
