The Lady Longhorns evened up their record in the CVC at 3-3 after a fine performance at Grantwood on Tuesday. Juniors Sam Webb (38) and Nadia Kauntz (49), the number 1 and 2 golfers for Lutheran West came in below their season average to give the Longhorns a big lead. Sophomore Callie Wabeke shot a solid 53 to keep pace with the number 3 golfer from Orange, Leah Laisure (51). Scoring for the first time in a match was freshmen Lauren Schulze, Lutheran West’s number 5 golfer, carded a 65. “I thought our girls played well on a very difficult course”, stated Coach Dave Ressler. “Sam and Nadia had really good scores and were striking the ball very well.”
