Green Takes Title; GlenOaks’ Maddie Reemsnyder Shoots 62!
The Green Girls High School Golf Team (312) won 2019 Medina Bees Invitational as they edged Ashland (314) by two strokes on Thursday at the Medina Country Club.
Green’s Jaden Eckard (75) finished fourth overall and Emily Liptak (76) fifth to pace the Bulldogs.
Ashland was led by Anna Watson (69) with a second place finish.
The biggest news on the day was the performance by GlenOaks’ Maddie Reemsnyder. Reemsnyder set a Medina Invitational record with a 9-under par score of 62 that allowed the Golden Eagles to pick up the third place trophy.
Super Sophomore Alessandria Goyette fired a one over par 72 which was good for third place on the day.
