The Lady Longhorn golf team finished up the regular season at home against Avon Lake on Thursday. Both teams came in with 12 wins and had a very competitive match. The Shoregals got the edge 183-186. The ‘Horns were led by senior Sam Webb (43) and junior Callie Wabeke (44). Senior Nadia Kauntz got back on track with a solid round of 48. Sophomore Julia Colton and Junior Ella Walden both came in with 51s. Rounding out the scores for Lutheran West was junior Emma Collins (58). The Shoregals were led by Junior Sarah Skaggs who was medalist with a score of 41. Lutheran West will be in action on Monday at the Division II Sectional Tournament at The Pines in Orrville.
