The Greater Cleveland Conference (GCC) kicked off their season on Thursday at the GCC Tournament #1 held at Shawnee Hills Golf Course.
Medina prevailed behind a career low 76 fired by Senior Cleo Meldrum and an 84 from Junior Hayley Johnson. The Bees started three freshman in their lineup and should be a force throughout the season.

A senior laden Mentor team showed they will a force to be reckoned with as the season goes on finishing in third on the day. They were led by Emme Russ with a 92 and Corrine Kuznik with a 97.
Brunswick was led in scoring by 2019 District qualifier Madison Perdue with a 91. Mckenzie Berg added a 93 on the day for the Lady Blue Devils whose blend of youth and experience will only improve. Defending Champion Solon was unable to participate due to current district policy.
