The Medina Bees won their first Greater Cleveland Conference (GCC) title on Monday at the Sweetbriar Golf Course. Medina and Strongsville were tied coming into the leagues final Tournament of the year and the two did not disappoint on the Legacy Course. Both teams showed a heart of a champion in this back in forth battle. A hot streak by Medina’s Stella Burns proved to be enough to hold off the Mustangs. Burns birdied the 15th hole and played bogey golf on the back nine to shoot a solid 94 on the day. Solon’s Kaitlin Kormuth was medalist for the day with a 78 and super freshman Natalie Kostalnick of Strongsville secured second with an 80.
