The Lady Longhorns continued their winning ways on Tuesday as they opened up conference play with a win over Cuyahoga Heights. The ‘Horns were led by Junior Callie Wabeke’s 4 over par 38. “This course is perfect for how Callie plays and she took advantage of it tonight”, stated Longhorn Coach Dave Ressler. “Callie never puts herself in trouble and on a narrow course like this she was able to collect a couple of birdies.” Seniors Sam Webb (41) and Nadia Kauntz (43) were right behind Wabeke. Sophomore Julia Colton (50) finished up the scoring for West. The Lady Longhorns also debuted two new golfers in Juniors Emma Collins (64) and Ella Walden (59). Cuyahoga Heights was led by senior Emma Patterson (46).
