Kinsale Golf & Fitness Club and Brookside Country Club tied at the top in the Stableford points format in the Columbus District Golf Association’s Pilkington Cup #2 at Cumberland Trail Golf Club.
In an event where all four teammates’ Stableford points counted as the team score, both teams finished with 81 points on the day.
Robert Franks led Kinsale with 24 points, shooting 66; Robert Davidge and Michael Cress both shot 68 for Brookside, bringing home 22 points each.
OSU Golf Club finished solo third with 80 points. OSU GC’s Dave McKee shot 65 to earn 25 points.
The low round of the day belonged to York’s Jared Wissinger, who earned 27 points on a 63.
After two of three Pilkington Cup events, Kinsale holds a one point lead over Brookside. The final 2025 event will be in a 2-best-balls-of-4 format at Scioto Reserve Country Club in Powell on August 21.
