Reeves Golf Course hosted the Cincinnati Hills League Preview. Madeira (320) was able to beat last year’s Preview champion Mariemont (348) by 28 strokes, while Wyoming (402) and Indian Hill (419) rounded out the top four spots.
2024 Athlete of the year in the CHL, Sophomore Ellie Hartung from Madeira, was able to hold off Mariemont Senior, Charlotte Soller (2023 Athlete of the year and 3-time first team ALL CHL) in an exciting match for medalist that was within two strokes after 15 holes. Hartung finished with a 68 (2-under par) while Soller finished with a 73.
Mariemont and Madeira will likely be competing for one of two state births that are up for grabs next month at Pipestone Golf course in their District match.
