RESULTS: 2025 NOGA PrimePay Jan Taylor Mixed Couples

In what was another rainy day in the never-ending Spring of 2025, thirteen teams carried on the tradition of the Jan Taylor Mixed Couple event at Plum Brook Country Club. Spirits were high throughout the afternoon despite the rain, as the teams enjoyed the camaraderie of this storied tournament.

The format on Thursday was a Modified Chapman Stableford, where each partner plays from the teeing ground and plays their partner’s ball for the second shot. After the second shot, partners select the ball with which they wish to score and play that ball alternately to complete the hole. All teams competed in one division with a net and gross component.

Winners of Net Division and T1 in the Gross Division Thursday, Bryan Dudash and Kamil Stephens

Bryan Dudash, a Plum Brook Country Club member, + Kamil Stephens, a Mount Union Women’s Golf Alumna, were the pace setters in both divisions on Thursday. The team was able to record points in the Gross Division on all but one hole, including four points from an Eagle on the par-5 6th.

Cari and Jeff Hetler, who finished T1 in the Gross Division

Cari Jeff Hetler, from Turkeyfoot Lake Golf Links, were able to match the team of Dudash + Stephens, with 32 points in the gross division. The pairing stayed away from Double Bogeys all day, recording points on every hole on Thursday afternoon, including a lone birdie on the par-5 18th.

In the Five Iron Golf Closest-to-the-Pin Contest at Plum Brook CC, Cathy Netter from West Shore Golf & Country Club won the $250 Five Iron Golf Gift Card with the closest approach of the day to 2 feet on the 130-yard par-3 14th hole. This Five Iron Golf CTP contest will be run at every NOGA Net event in 2025, with a $250 card up for grabs each time.

The next event on the NOGA Net Series schedule is also part of the brand new Toledo Legacy Series: the 2025 PrimePay Net Toledo Four-Ball at Stone Oak Country Club on Wednesday, June 11th.
