The Northern Ohio PGA hosted the annual Janice Moodie Pro-3 Lady tournament today at Avon Oaks Country Club, welcoming 15 teams made up of one PGA Professional or Associate and three female amateurs. The event was contested in a 2 Net of 4 Best Ball format and was proudly supported by Sterling Cut Glass and Erin Barney.
Home course advantage paid off for Austin Masturzo (Avon Oaks Country Club) and teammates Sandy Drellishak, Shauna Molloy, and Darcye Kitchen, who took the title with an impressive 14-under-par finish.
Two teams tied for second place at 12-under: Kirk Stucke (Mercer County Elks) with Cindy and Jenny Huelsman and Carla Rockwell, and Jordan Paolini (Shaker Heights Country Club) with Ryanne Mucha, Julie Bernhardt, and Julia Neff.
Next up on the Northern Ohio PGA tournament calendar is the Pro-Assistants Championship at Oberlin Golf Club on Tuesday, September 2nd.
