Sattler + Nimsuwan, Pollack + Rusnak Share Win
The Northern Ohio PGA’s Mid-Summer Pro-Pro Jumble at Fox Meadow Country Club delivered exciting team golf action in a unique 6-6-6 format on Monday, with two teams rising above the rest to share the title at 13-under par.
Blake Sattler + Matt Nimsuwan of Brookside Country Club matched Scott Pollack + Gary Rusnak of 1899 Golf with rounds that showcased consistency and clutch shot-making throughout the day. Both teams posted 5-under in the scramble format, followed by 4-under in the better ball portion, and closed with another 4-under in the challenging Chapman format.
Pollack and Rusnak sealed their share of the win with a dramatic eagle on the par-5 18th hole.
Just one shot back at 12-under were Michael Balcar (Brandywine Country Club) + Kyle Buzaki (Glenmoor Country Club), who narrowly missed an eagle attempt on the final hole that would have forced a three-way tie.
The event featured a rotating format every six holes: scramble for holes 1–6, better ball for holes 7–12, and Chapman for holes 13–18. The unique structure challenged teams to adapt and strategize across each phase of play, making for an exciting competition.
Next up on the Northern Ohio PGA tournament schedule is Stroke Play #6 on July 28 at Portage Country Club in Akron, Ohio.
