It was a close contest amongst participants in the OHIO.GOLF WM Phoenix Open Fantasy Event this weekend. There was a tie for first place with a team score of 58 under par — and both contestants had the same exact roster!
Chris Gotterup rallied on Sunday, closing his round with five birdies on his final six holes to force a playoff with Hideki Matsuyama. Gotterup went on to win with a birdie on the first playoff hole.
The top-4 players selected by Scott Saari and Bill Rhoades both included Chris Gotterup (-16), Akshay Bhatia (-15), Scottie Scheffler (-15), and Pierceson Coody (-12). For their winning selections, they will each take home $112.
In third place with a team score of 56 under par, was Pat Graham. He will take home $56.
