Stow native Ian Holt made birdie on the 72nd hole at The Great Abaco Classic in the Bahamas today, and with it captured his first PGA TOUR Korn Ferry victory.
The former Kent State golfer grabbed the 54-hole lead with a wind-blown 68 on Tuesday to lead by two. The winds continued during a tough final round on Wednesday at The Abaco Club, as Holt made five bogeys on the day against six birdies.
His biggest birdie came at the final hole, with Holt locked into a four-way tie for the lead. After a massive drive to the center of a tight fairway, Holt hit a clutch par-5 approach shot to 18-feet. He then cozied up his eagle putt to five inches for a tap-in victory.
With the win, Holt now leads the 2026 Korn Ferry Tour points race, looking to secure his PGA TOUR card.
