To better describe its focus and locale, the Board of Governors of the Greater Summit Senior Golf Association voted to change the name of the association starting in 2014 to Summit Senior Golf of Akron, said association president Jim Fenwick.
The new web site is ssgoa.org and can still be accessed by the previous URL, gssga.org.
