Silver Lake’s Jim Durr captained Team Ohio to the 2024 U.S. Senior Challenge title at Kingsmill Resort in Williamsburg, Virginia on June 6th.
It’s the first time Ohio has won the event since claiming back-to-back titles in 1993 and ’94.
The men from Ohio grabbed the lead in the first round of the four-man team event and never gave it up.
Ohio got considerable help from Canton’s Jeff Mallette, who finished 54 holes at 5-over par, good for the individual title.
