UPDATE 7/14: 2020 NOGA Player of the Year Standings

With a first place finish at the Summer Stroke Play at Plum Brook, Chris Okeson (Mayfield Sand Ridge Club) has climbed closer to the top of the 2020 NOGA Great Lakes Auto Player of the Year points list.

Okeson continues to trail the leader, Cade Breitenstine (Ellsworth Meadows), the winner of the 2020 Northeast Ohio Am, by 51.25 points. But he is in front of third position holder Brian Smith (Oberlin Golf Club) by nearly 69 points.

In the Senior Division, Monty Guest (Silver Lake Country Club) extended his leads over Tom Laubacher (Club Walden) with a solid T1 finish in the Senior Summer Stroke Play. Mark Borlin (NEOH.GOLF Club) jumped into third place with his T1 at Plum Brook.

The race is on to the Great Lakes Auto NOGA Tour Championship, with the top 24 players from both divisions qualifying to finish the season on the Firestone Country Club South Course on September 13-14.
