This Summer’s Drive, Chip & Putt Qualifying Canceled Nationwide

This summer’s Drive, Chip & Putt Qualifying Tournaments will not be held in 2020 due to COVID-19 concerns, the Augusta National Golf Club announced on Friday.

Instead, the Club decided that the qualifying players for the recently canceled national event will be able to compete in the 2021 Finals in the same age division for which they qualified previously. The 2021 national finals date is set for April 4th.

To keep the field size the same, the club canceled what would have been the local and regional qualifiers for the 2021 event.

The DC&P, which emphasizes three key skills areas for boys and girls ages 7-15, had been staged on the Sunday before the Masters since its debut in 2014.
