The Ohio Girls Golf Foundation has traditionally been used as a springboard to the High School golf season. A bright sunny sky at Avon Oaks Country Club teased that maybe the luck of 2020 was about to change and all the girls would complete the competition.
But by 2:30, only thirty eight of the ninety two golfers were able to finish their rounds before the skies opened up and the event had to be canceled.

Eastern Michigan recruit Anna Watson (Ashland) blazed the course with a 68 to set the pace as the clubhouse leader.
Lexington Senior Amanda Ruminski carded an even par 72 showcasing some mammoth drives on the day.
Hawken Sophomore Ella Wong posted a 74 and Findlay recruit Jordan Pruitt (Milan Edison) fired a 79 on the day.
