Barberton’s Nolan Haynes Sets Records at AJGA KY Tourney

Barberton’s Nolan Haynes, a Senior on the Archbishop Hoban Boys Golf Team, set the course record today at the AJGA Justin Thomas Junior Championship at Harmony Landing CC in Goshen, Kentucky.

Nolan shot an 11-under par 60 in the tournament’s final round, making nine birdies and an eagle!

The previous course record holder was the tournament namesake, PGA TOUR player Justin Thomas. Harmony Landing is the course Justin grew up playing, and where his father Mike was the Head Professional.

Haynes also tied the record for the all-time AJGA low 18 hole score, a significant accomplishment.

So how tough is the AJGA competition? Nolan shot 71-70-60 and still finished as runner-up, two shots behind the 54-hole tournament winner.
