The Women’s Akron District Golf Association held its 2026 Championship at Westfield Country Club in Seville. Rain on Sunday forced the Championship flight to abandon their first-day round, and all flights played a 36-hole tournament on both the North and South Courses.
After 36 holes were complete, there was a playoff between Alison Cress of Canton Brookside and Emily Baumgartner of Portage CC. The playoff ended after two holes, with Cress declared the winner.
The final play date of the season will be held Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at Fairlawn CC.
