O-H-I-O! The Mallard Creek All-Stars will be bringing their team chant back to the 2019 PGA Jr. League Championship presented by National Car Rental for the fifth straight year.
Four teams from Southern and Northern Ohio, New York, and Pennsylvania met at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort to determine a Regional winner on Sep 14-15th.
Following the first round sessions, the Ohio-based teams – the Columbus 1 All-Stars and the Mallard Creek All-Stars – led the pack with 2-0 records.
On the final day of play, The Southern Conference 1 All-Stars of Pittsburgh won their game 8 ½ to 3 ½ versus the Buffalo North All-Stars of New York.
The Mallard Creek All-Stars extended their perfect record with a 7 to 5 win against the Columbus 1 All-Stars.
The Mallard Creek All Stars move on to the PGA Jr League National Finals at Greyhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale AZ on October 11 – 14th.
