Preston Tolnar of Canfield won the 2025 Hurricane Junior Golf Tour Boys 10-11 Tournament of Champions, shooting 70-67=135 to win by a whopping 13 shots at Champions Gate Resort in Orlando on December 6-7.
It was an international field of players, and all participants were HJGT event winners during 2025. Preston set a new tournament scoring record at 7-under par, crushing the previous mark set in 2007 at 1-under par.
The victory marks the second consecutive year he has won this title. With the win, he earned one of the ten spots on the 2026 Hurricane Cup Team representing the Northern U.S. states. The Cup event will be played against the Southern U.S. states in January at the World Golf Hall of Fame courses in St. Augustine, Florida.
