The 5th Record Courier Portage County Kids Amateur teed off at Sunny Hill Golf Course in Brimfield with 33 junior golfers under the age of 12 competing.
Members of the Kent Roosevelt girls varsity golf team along with coaches Bryan Harvey and Larry Picicco, guided the youth golfers around the third nine at Sunny Hill.
Special tees were set-up for the juniors and golfers competed on four, six or nine holes.
Medals were awarded to the first place golfer in each grade division and everyone received certificates.
It was the largest Kids Amateur in the history of the event.
