RESULTS: 2019 Ungvary Memorial Jumble

A score of 66 by the team of Dave Oates and Vaughn Snyder was matched by Bobby Spino and Tom McBride to tie at the top of the 2019 Joe Ungvary Sr. Memorial Jumble at Good Park Golf Course in Akron on Saturday, June 8th.

Snyder and Oates jumped out to the early lead by tying for first place in the Scramble six holes, then matching the T1 of Spino and McBride in the Better Ball six.

But Spino and McBride knotted up the final result with their own tie for first in the Alternate Shot, besting Oates and Snyder by one.

The Spino/McBride team cleaned out the Alternate Shot skins pot, however, earning that segment’s only skin with a birdie at the par-4 15th. That solo skin brought the day’s top total net to an even $1000 for the team, besting Snyder/Oates’ $900 won on the day.
