Twelve players made the trip to Portage Country Club in Akron on Wednesday to compete in the first ever U.S. Adaptive Open Qualifier held in Ohio. These twelve were all competing for one qualifying spot in the fourth annual U.S. Adaptive Open Championship, to be held at the Woodmont Country Club South Course in Rockville, MD on July 7-9, 2025.
Josh Hunke of Canada earned a wire-to-wire victory, as he started one-under par through the first two holes in the first group of the day. Josh would finish at 2-over par on the day with a card that included four birdies.
The entire field took advantage of the mid-summer like weather conditions and the beautiful spring course conditions at host Portage Country Club.
