The 2025 Girls Junior Amateur Local Qualifier for the Cleveland region was conducted by the Northern Ohio Golf Association on Wednesday at Silver Lake Country Club. Thirty-seven girls teed it up Wednesday afternoon in hopes of claiming one of two qualifying spots.
Grace Carter was the only girl in red numbers all afternoon, never relinquishing the lead after making an eagle on the par-5 second. The Florida native did not let a double-bogey on 18 stop her from punching her ticket to the Atlanta Athletic Club.
Lauren Timpf, a rising Sophomore at Purdue University, battled the worst conditions of the day as the final group on the course to claim her spot in Atlanta. Timpf would finish her back-nine with an even par 36 to avoid a playoff by one-stroke.
