Blake Sattler of Brookside Country Club and Gary Rusnak of 1899 Indoor Golf-Twinsburg won their respective divisions Monday at Club Car / Pepsi Stroke Play #3 at Brookside Country Club.
Sattler, the Director of Instruction at Brookside, captured the Regular Division title with a 4-under-par 67 on the Donald Ross-designed layout. Sattler carded two birdies and an eagle on his way to a one-shot victory over Randy Dietz of Windmill Golf Center, who finished at 68 (-3). Kyle Buzaki of Glenmoor Country Club, Nick Gustin of Erie Shores Golf Course, and Jim Troy of The Golf Dome shared third place at 69 (-2).
In the Senior Division, Rusnak posted a 1-under-par 70 to claim the title by two strokes. Tom Waitrovich, Mitch Camp, and Sean Kenily tied for second at 72 (+1), while Joseph Borawski of Brookside Country Club and Nick Myers of Highland Meadows Golf Club shared fifth place at 73 (+2).
The next Northern Ohio PGA team event is the HG Fairhurst Memorial Pro-Am on Monday, June 8th at Congress Lake Club.
