Matthew Nimsuwan and Blake Sattler of Brookside Country Club and the team of Mike Stone (Belmont Country Club) and Steve Stone (McDivots Driving Range) shared medalist honors at the Northern Ohio PGA Mid-Summer Pro-Pro on Monday, July 20, at Barrington Golf Club. Both teams finished at 9-under-par 63 to earn co-champion honors in the event, which featured holes 1-6 as a Scramble format, holes 7-12 as a Better Ball format, and holes 13-18 as a Chapman Alternate Shot format.
Nimsuwan and Sattler carded rounds of 30-33—63, while Mike and Steve Stone matched the total with a 30-33—63. Jaysen Hansen (Tippecanoe Country Club) and Greg Smith (Westbrook Country Club) tied for third at 8-under 64 alongside Dan Dauk and Justin Long of Windmill Lakes Golf Club, who also posted 64.
DJ Holub and Sean McGuire of Pepper Pike Club finished fifth at 7-under 65. Justin Roth (GolfTEC–Brecksville) and Jared Toom (GolfTEC–Stonebrook) tied for sixth at 6-under 66 with PGA of America Life Members Tom Atchison and Tom Waitrovich.
The Northern Ohio PGA tournament schedule travels to Union Country Club for Club Car / Pepsi Stroke Play #6.
