FINAL RESULTS: 2025 WOSGA Ohio Girls Junior Championship

2025 WOSGA Girls Junior Group Photo

The Final Round of the 49th WOSGA Ohio Junior Girls Championship kicked off as it always does, with a group photo of all the players. Immediately after, all 66 players made their way out to their holes for the 9 a.m. shotgun start.

Meadow Tian knew she would have a big target on her back entering the final round, after she tied the tournament record with a 66 on Monday. The University of Illinois Women’s Golf Commit did not seem affected at all, as she would shoot an even-par 72 that included three birdies.

Tian now adds an Ohio Girls Junior Championship to her impressive Junior Golf resume.

Elizabeth Coleman knew should would have her work cut out for her on Tuesday, starting the day four shots back of the overall lead. The Medina native gave herself a great chance by carding a bogey-free 70, including birdies on 11 and 16. Coleman would ultimately fall two shots shy of the overall win, but should be proud of her performance this week.

Serena Wu did not have the start she wanted to the Final Round on Tuesday morning, but was able to turn it around once she got to the tenth hole. Wu would make four birdies on the back side, including three of the first four coming in. The Solon native would finish with a 74 on Tuesday, putting her into a tie for the top of the Girls 16-19 Division with a total three-day score of 220. Wu would win the division over Emma Myers in a USGA-method scorecard playoff.

Calli Reed posted an even-par 72 in the final round on Tuesday, which was tied for the lowest round of the week in her division. Reed was able to come back from 3-strokes down after the second round to win the Girls 14-15 Division by four shots. The Magnificat Blue Streak knew it was crunch time, and was able to post a one-under par bogey-free back nine to claim the top spot in her division.

Taylor Harstine had a very consistent three days at Marion Country Club, posting no higher than a 74 throughout the tournament. Harstine’s final round of 73 was enough to give her a 6-stroke victory in her division.

Bella Mitchell</strong >became only the second player ever in the 49-year history of the Ohio Girls Junior Championship to make a hole-in-one on Tuesday. Mitchell hit a perfect approach on the 159-yard par-3 5th with a 6-iron.

The next — and final — WOSGA event of the 2025 season will be the 27th Women’s Ohio State Senior Amateur Championship at Lancaster Golf Club on September 22 and 23.
