Mikey Pagnotto of Scioto Country Club won the 2026 Columbus District Golf Association’s Amateur Championship on Thursday at NorthStar Golf Club in Sunbury after defeating Luke Siefker from Golf Club of Dublin by a 2-up margin in the Final Match.
Pagnotto entered the match play bracket on Tuesday as the 12 seed after shooting even-par 72 on Monday. When it came to the final match, Pagnotto’s 4 birdies ultimately sealed the deal and helped earn him this year’s title.
In the 2026 CDGA Senior Amateur Championship, Joe Podolski from York Golf Club won for the second year in a row.
Todd Larson from Ohio State University Golf Club wouldn’t make it an easy feat for Podolski, though. Podolski finished just 1-up over Larson in the Final Match through 18 holes to secure his title.
