The 2026 CMG Shawnee Hills Course Championship + GCAC Qualifier was one for the record books. Former Cleveland State player Andrew Kaye followed up his historic day-one 62 with an impressive 68 to capture the title by 9 strokes.
Kaye’s 36-hole total of 12 under par and a 9-shot victory is one of the largest margins of victory in Cleveland Metroparks Course Championship history.
Michael Doherty followed his 68 up with an even-par 71 while Ryan Wirtz rounded out the podium with a 36-hole total of 1 under par.
Next in the Cleveland Metroparks series is the Sleepy Hollow Course Championship on July 18-19.
