The 28th Women’s Ohio Senior Amateur Championship saw a comeback win on Tuesday morning at Fairlawn Country Club in Fairlawn.
Fiona Connor, who trailed by just one shot after the first round, carded a score of 78 to take the win by 3 strokes. Connor remained consistent throughout the day, carding mostly just pars and bogeys to earn her win.
In the Super Senior Division, Cynthia Acker increased her lead to 9 strokes after carding another 87. Her pair of matching scores over the 2-day tournament was enough to earn her the Division title.
The Whitacre Division saw a comeback win as well. Nancy Battista-Allen, who found herself in 4th after round 1, carded a round 2 score of 89 to take the title.
