The top of the leaderboard is crowded after round 1 of the 2026 Ohio Mid-Amateur Championship. Four players are currently tied for the lead at 4-under-par.
2025 champion, Jeg Coughlin, is back and ready to defend his title. The Dublin native carded an opening round of 68 to tie Toledo’s Robert Pickett, as well as fellow Dublin natives Andrew Simpson and Peyton White.
The four leaders will return for round 2, where they’ll continue to fight for the top spot against the 125-player field. The second round will commence with tee times starting at 8 am on Tuesday morning.
