Round 1 of the 2026 Greater Cleveland Amateur Championship is in the books. After a 2-hour weather delay at Sleepy Hollow Golf Course in Brecksville, the event got off to a hot start.
Jarrod Kasunick took the lead by two after the opening round with an impressive 4-under-par 67. Shaun Kloetzer and Lucas Liberatore were the only others in red figures.
The second day of the GCAC will commence at Manakiki Golf Course on Saturday morning starting at 7:30 AM. Following Saturday’s round, the top 28 players and ties will advance to the final round of the Championship on Sunday.
