The Women’s Ohio State Golf Association, in conjunction with the Northern Ohio Golf Association, kicked off the 28th Women’s Ohio Senior Amateur Championship at Fairlawn Country Club in Fairlawn on Monday.
After Round 1, the leaderboard remains crowded with Alison Cress and Jen Irwin tied for the lead in the Championship Division with their 83s. Close behind are Kiki Lorann, Fiona Connor, and Janet Shaheen, who carded 84s.
In the Super Senior Division, Cynthia Acker has a 3-shot lead going into the final day of the Championship after finishing with a score of 87.
The Whitacre Division has Maria Maxwell and Isabel Wright atop the leaderboard, tied at 90.
The final round of the 28th Women’s Senior Amateur Championship kicks off tomorrow morning with a 9 AM shotgun start at Fairlawn Country Club.
