The DDWGA Spring Shamble took place at Troy Country Club on Monday in Troy, Ohio, on a beautiful May afternoon. The format consisted of two-better-balls-of-four with the best tee shot chosen from each group.
In the Gross Division, Lindsey Murray, Tracy Murray, Sara Mahoney, Connie Cain won Flight 1 by one stroke. Mary Biermann, Jeanne Johnson, Holly Mothersole, Courtney Boyd were victorious in Flight 2 while Holly Lane, Becky McCaughey, Susan Seitz, Teresa Chandler captured Flight 3.
In the Net Division, Ginger Fulton, Stephanie Riegel, Anne Holtz, Michele Sutton won Flight 1 while Gail Moore, Robin Rutledge, Cindy Wilson, Bev Cultice were the champions of Flight 2. Sara Sorey, Lisa Mays, Julie Stamas, Betse O’Keefe came out on top in Flight 3.
After play, the DDWGA Scholarship Award Winners were honored with their families at dinner. The 2026 recipients include Lauren Miller (University of Dayton), Vera Cox (University of Dayton) and Addison Accurso (Wittenberg University). DETAILS: DDWGA Scholarship Recipients >
