Nasty weather shortened the Miami Valley Golf’s season-opening shotgun start event at NCR Country Club’s South Course, forcing the Committee to determine the four-ball results using all holes completed by the teams in each division.
For the Gross Results, Brandon J. Johnson + Bryce Haney came out on top in their title defense, shooting 2-under par 25 on Holes 9 through 15.
On the Net side, Jeff Stamps + Steve Kreitzer shot 5-under par 19 on Holes 18 through 5.
All ties were decided using the last-to-first hole method, counting backward from hole 18.
The Gross Division skins game recorded no winners, and the pot will be donated to Youth on Course per policy. In the Net Division, Sung Kim earned the only skin with a net-2 on hole #3, worth $640.
