AKRON, Ohio — Aidan Rosca, Hannah Sword, Aaron Grewal, Abhaypratap Kanwar and Grace Sword won their respective divisions Thursday at the Northern Ohio PGA Futures Tour Championship at Mud Run Golf Course. The nine-hole, par-34 event marked the 11th and final Futures Tour event of the 2026 season.
Rosca of Shaker Heights won the Boys 12-16 Division with a 1-over 35, finishing five strokes ahead of Jace Miller of Orrville and Agampratap Kanwar of Hudson, who tied for second at 40. Hannah Sword of Amherst claimed the Girls 12-16 Division with a 3-over 37, followed by Ayreana Rippey of Mogadore at 40 and Mackenzie Artzner of Mentor at 43.
In the younger divisions, Abhaypratap Kanwar of Hudson won Boys 8-9 with a 40, one stroke ahead of George de Windt of Chagrin Falls. Aaron Grewal of Twinsburg posted a 38 to win Boys 10-11 by two strokes over Ezekiel Gordon of Canton. Grace Sword of Amherst recorded a 2-over 36 to win Girls 8-11 by five strokes over Ayla Scritchfield of Canton.
The season-ending championship also finalized the 2026 Futures Tour Players of the Year. Lucas Delaratta of Wadsworth earned Boys 12-16 honors, Hannah Sword of Amherst was named Girls 12-16 Player of the Year, Abhaypratap Kanwar of Hudson earned Boys 8-9 honors, Aaron Grewal of Twinsburg claimed Boys 10-11 honors and Laurel Biber of Stow was named Girls 8-11 Player of the Year.
The Futures Tour Championship concluded the Northern Ohio PGA’s 2026 nine-hole Futures Tour season. The next stop on the NOPGA Junior Tour Calendar is the NOPGA Tour Championship at Oberlin Golf Club on Monday & Tuesday.
