Jimmy Beers Golf Wins Fifth Firestone Junior Cup at Firestone Country Club
Jimmy Beers Golf captured the 2026 Firestone Junior Cup for the fifth time on Wednesday at Firestone Country Club. Jimmy Beers Golf won the Back Nine Division after posting a team score of 1-over-par 106, while First Tee – Akron claimed the Front Nine Division with a 6-under-par 99.
Jimmy Beers Golf tied Red Tail Golf Club at 106 before earning the title through the USGA tiebreak procedure. The teams then participated in a closest-to-the-pin competition from 67 yards on the 18th hole with each player on the 8-person team hitting the shot, where Jimmy Beers Golf secured the overall Firestone Junior Cup title. The winning team consisted of Bo Birchak, Jo Jo Birchak, Carsten Chouinard, Grady Chouinard, Mason Dillon, Dexter Grimmett, Reagan Midock and Ayreana Rippey.
First Tee – Akron, led by PGA Professional Dirk Hartman, finished two shots clear of runner-up Tanglewood Golf Club on the Front Nine, which posted 4-under-par 101. The First Tee – Akron roster included Lena Finley, Emma Kesler, Evan Ketchum, George Moore, Michael Morris, Brielle Rowles, Bryce Williams and Jackson Young. Medina Country Club finished third at 4-over-par 109.
