Glenn Kandell was at the top of the leaderboard in this week’s OHIO.GOLF U.S. Open Fantasy Event, with a winning team score of 1-under par. His team was the only one to finish under par this week; however none of the top three finishers selected the U.S. Open winner, Wyndham Clark.
Despite having the fans in New York against him all week, Wyndham Clark left his mark at Shinnecock Hills, where he held on for a one-stroke victory over Sam Burns. With the win, Clark captured his second U.S. Open title of his career.
Kandell’s team consisted of Sam Burns (-3), Scottie Scheffler (E), Gary Woodland (+1), and Tyrrell Hatton (+1). He will receive $225 for his winning selections.
Jim Strunk finished in second place with a score of 2-over par. His team included runner-up, Sam Burns (-3), J.T. Poston (E), Aaron Rai (+2) and Ludvig Aberg (+3). He will receive $135 for his selections.
Coming in third place this week was Allen Freeman with a team score of 4-over par. His team consisted of Sam Burns (-3), J.T. Poston (E), Akshay Bhatia (+3) and Matt Fitzpatrick (+4). He will be awarded $90 for his selections.
Next up on the OHIO.GOLF PGA Tour Fantasy Series schedule is The 154th Open Championship at Royal Birkdale in Southport, England, on July 12-19. A large field of OHIO.GOLF Fantasy contestants is expected, which should make for some great payouts!
