Neal Shipley and Zac Blair tied for medalist honors with 8-under-par at the 2026 U.S. Open Final Qualifier at Springfield Country Club on Monday, June 8.
Shipley, a standout from The Ohio State University and 2024 low amateur at the U.S. Open and the Masters, made birdie on his final hole to give himself some extra room on the leaderboard. Blair, a professional since 2014 and Korn Ferry tour champion, is no stranger to Springfield Country Club with this year marking his fourth time qualifying out of the site.

Billy Horschel, the 2014 FedEx Cup Champion, Nick Hardy, a professional with two top-20 finishes at the U.S. Open and Dylan Wu, a previous Korn Ferry tour player with two U.S. Open appearances, all tied for third at 7-under-par to earn their place in the U.S. Open.
A 4-for-2 playoff was held to determine the two alternate positions. 10-time PGA Tour Champion Brandt Snedeker is the first alternate and four-time U.S. Open qualifier Maxwell Moldovan is the second alternate.
The 126th U.S. Open will be hosted at Shinnecock Hills Golf Club on June 18-21 in Southampton, New York.
