Mark Mokros and Ryan Mallette set a pace on the front 9 at Fox Den Golf Course on Saturday that no one was able to catch up with. The team turned at 8-under-par during the 2026 ADGA 2-Player Shamble.
Hard storms came in, halting play and temporarily flooding multiple greens. Play resumed, as did the momentum from Mokros and Mallette that would get them to 13-under-par and earn them the title. The win was a three-shot victory over four teams who would tie for second place at 10-under-par.
Mike Cassell and Doug Hanzel took home the biggest cash prize of the day with their eagle skin on number one for $1050 that would be paired with their $575 tie for second place.
Michael Witmer and Michael Fierst took home the other $1050 skin with their birdie on the tough par-3 17th hole.
The next ADGA event will be the 27-hole Two-Man Scramble at Sable Creek Golf Course in Hartville on Saturday, October 3rd.
