The Northern Ohio Golf Association continued the 2026 Great Lakes Auto Scratch Series on Wednesday at Shady Hollow Country Club in Massillon with its Four-Ball #1 + Match Play Qualifier. Teams braved the cold, rainy weather as well as a lengthy rain delay to ultimately compete for seeding in the Season-Long Match Play Competition.
Lucas Liberatore and Brett Dubin claimed a 4-shot victory in the Championship Division. The pair carded 11 birdies and finished the day at 7-under, 65.
The Senior Division was led by Shayne Bishop and Bob Spino. The pair battled to the end, finishing their round with 4 straight birdies to card a score of 7-under, 65.
Only one skin was won outright between both the Championship and Senior Divisions. Tyler Ankrom and Alex Dye claimed their winnings after Dye’s impressive eagle on hole 4.
The next event on the NOGA Great Lakes Auto Scratch Series is the Scratch Stroke Play #2 at Stone Ridge Golf Club on June 18th.
