The Northern Ohio Golf Association hosted the Toledo Series Four-Ball #1, its first Toledo Series event of the year, at Sylvania Country Club on Thursday. Teams competed for both net and gross titles as well as the chance to play in the NOGA Trillium Creek Dermatology Net Four-Ball Championship at Firestone Country Club Fazio Course on September 8, 2026.
Logan Sutto kept the momentum going after his recent top-two finish in the Northeast Ohio Amateur Championship. Sutto and his partner, Sam Sutton, took a four-shot lead in the Amateur Division with their impressive gross score of 7-under, 65.
The net portion of the Amateur Division was tight throughout the day. Ultimately, Tyson Spence and Ryan Hackenburg’s 4-under, 68, earned them the net title.
The Senior Amateur Division was led by Tom Bollenbacher and Jeff Skaggs, who carded a 2-over, 74, to take the gross title by three strokes. The pair earned 4 net skins throughout the day on their way to the title.
Seniors Craig Soule and Michael A Trapp earned their spot on the podium as well, after finishing with a net score of 4-under, 68.
The next event in the NOGA Toledo Series is the Individual Stableford at Stone Ridge Golf Club in Bowling Green on June 18th.
